red.

Last night, as I was sitting at my desk taking a study break (which was much needed and deserved...thanks, Junior Year), I realized that Taylor Swift's new album, Red, had been released that morning. Naturally, this put me in a fabulous mood, and I immediately downloaded it.

So.

Darn.

Good.

I think I was three tracks in when I realized that burning a CD for my car was completely necessary. It's the new soundtrack for my commute to and from school...for an indefinite period of time.

I'm a huge fan of the whole album, but here are my top tracks:

All Too Well. I don't even have words to describe how much I am in love with this song.

22. This is super different for Taylor, more in the vein of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and I Knew You Were Trouble, but it's such a cute, fun song!

I Almost Do. Probably my favorite song on the entire album. Perfection.

Everything Has Changed (feat. Ed Sheeran): Okay, a) I love Ed Sheeran. He sounds phenomenal on this track, and b) this song gives me chills. Total winner.

Starlight. The lyrics and production are both beautiful and I'm in love. Enough said.

As a whole, Red is definitely a hit!

Have you listened to the album? What are your thoughts?

Blown Away-Carrie Underwood

I love country music. Hands down, it's my absolute favorite genre of music to listen to...In fact, an ideal moment for me would involve a cloudless summer day, a roofless Jeep Wrangler, a pair of Wayfarers, a sweet tea, and country music blasting on the radio. That being said, I am a huge fan of Carrie Underwood. And let me just say, her newest album, Blown Away, well...it blew me away.

I've been listening to the album pretty much non-stop since its release two weeks ago. I am totally obsessed with the whole thing, especially "Good Girl," "Blown Away," "Two Black Cadillacs," "See You Again," "Nobody Ever Told You," "One Way Ticket," and "Thank God for Hometowns." Oh wait, that's more than half the album...

"One Way Ticket" is definitely a great summer song and will be on repeat in my car as the weather continues to heat up!

"Sun's shining bright and it's meant for us, life is like a ride on a party bus. Turn the radio up and sing along with it."

Perfect for summer, no?

What do you think of Blown Away?
