Happy 4th of July!!!

Happy 4th, y'all!! I'll be spending my favorite holiday at a parade with my boyfriend, the beach with my friends, and a barbecue and fireworks with all my friends later tonight. Tomorrow, I'll be at the boyfriend's country club for a carnival and more fireworks. Sounds like a perfect two days, doesn't it?

How are you celebrating the 4th?

What To Wear: Fourth of July

My favorite holiday is close upon us! I'm in love with the Fourth of July because it combines my favorite things: summer, parties, and patriotism. It's the time to celebrate all that is great about America. I'm always sporting something festive with red, white, and blue. Of course, I already have my outfits picked, but if you're still looking for inspiration, search no further.

What are you wearing this 4th of July? Do you have any fun plans? Let me know!

USA! USA! USA!

In honor of the Olympics Opening Ceremony, and my pure love for the good ol' red, white, and blue, I'll be culling pins from my 'Merica board on Pinterest!

Also, Rowdy Gentleman has a whole section of patriotic gear that I just happened upon the other day!

They have such a great selection of stuff, from tanks to hats to koozies! Above are probably my two favorite items from the line!

Will you be tuning in to the Opening Ceremony?

Happy 4th!!

Oh, yes it is! I know I said I wouldn't be posting for the rest of the week, but it's officially my favorite holiday, the day we celebrate just how great it is to live in America! We are so incredibly blessed to call this country of dreams, determination, and prosperity our own.

I think Rodney Atkins said it best in his song, "It's America."
It's a high school prom, it's a Springsteen song, it's a ride in a Chevrolet; it's a man on the moon and fireflies in June and kids selling lemonade. It's cities and farms, it's open arms, One Nation Under God. It's America.
I'll be spending today with my friends and family at the beach, a barbecue, and the firework show. And you can bet I'll be decked out in the good ol' red, white, and blue!

I wish y'all a very happy 4th of July with all your loved ones!
