Oh, yes it is! I know I said I wouldn't be posting for the rest of the week, but it's officially my favorite holiday, the day we celebrate just how great it is to live in America! We are so incredibly blessed to call this country of dreams, determination, and prosperity our own. 

I think Rodney Atkins said it best in his song, "It's America."

 It's a high school prom, it's a Springsteen song, it's a ride in a Chevrolet; it's a man on the moon and fireflies in June and kids selling lemonade. It's cities and farms, it's open arms, One Nation Under God. It's America.

I'll be spending today with my friends and family at the beach, a barbecue, and the firework show. And you can bet I'll be decked out in the good ol' red, white, and blue!
