The Best Board Game You'll Ever Play

I've never played a party game I didn't like. Apples to Apples, Never Have I Ever, Would You Rather are all right up my alley. Nothing gets people to having a great time and diffuses awkwardness like a good, old-fashioned round of a solid game. Earlier this week, I made a quick stop at Target (oh boy) to buy a new Twister game for my sister and her friends. Let me just say first that I, like most people, should not be allowed to set foot in Target unsupervised. It's just dangerous.

As I browsed the game section looking for Twister, I happened upon the best thing to happen to my family's game collection since Apples to Apples.

Say hello to Smart Ass.

The trivia questions fall in three categories: Where Am I?, What Am I?, and Who Am I?. Instead of a typical single clue, the questions are presented with ten clues ranging from very vague–think "I am a US city"–to more specific–"I begin with the letter C". Each player is allowed to shout out answers as the clues are being read, but only one try is allowed per round and only the person who answers correctly is allowed to move forward.

My friends and I had a great time playing last night, screaming out answers and banging the table. We were so surprised at how many we could answer correctly! And who knew the trivia I was so into when I was little would come in so handy?

Have you played Smart Ass? What's your favorite party game? I'd love to check them out!
