Just last night, I had the pleasure of attending the book launch party for Jackie Pilossoph's brand new novel Jackpot! (Buy it here) Her second novel is just as adorable as the first, Hook, Line and Sink Him.
I've had the pleasure of knowing Jackie for a few years (I babysit her adorable kids!), so I was thrilled last year when she asked me to work at her first book launch for Hook, Line and Sink Him. I had so much fun then, that when she called a few months ago asking me to work at the next one, I couldn't say yes quickly enough.
The event was hosted at Flight Wine Bar, who provided delicious food and drinks and space for over a hundred people who attended.
The whole night I sold books, mingled with guests, and got to wear this gorgeous bracelet on loan from the Stella & Dot table.
I had a blast at last night's party, and loved seeing and hearing everyone's praise for Jackie and all of her success. I'm so proud of her, and so honored to know her. She is truly an inspiration!
