Hunters

Tis the season for warm boots that keep us dry, no? Here on the North Shore, there hasn't been snow for us to trek through, but it has been raining. The streets and sidewalks have been full of puddles and the ground has been super muddy and gross. Last weekend, I was out doing some Christmas shopping with a friend and it started pouring as we walked out to my car. As we raced towards the parking lot, we both said, "Thank God for Hunter boots!"

With this weather, I've been relying on my Hunter rain boots a lot lately. I have the Original Tall boots in glossy black and in matte black, but I definitely favor the glossy ones.

The matte and glossy boots come in all different shades, with the glossy favoring the brighter, "fun" shades like mint (above) and the mattes sticking to gorgeous neutrals like dark olive (below).

What is so great about Hunters is not just their durability, but their versatility. You can wear them with so many different outfits and it's great.

  1. I live in Illinois too and I definitely agree that Hunters are perfect for the weather we have been having here!
